Hi everyone :)

I've gotten a lot of notes asking about using my art for various things, so I figured it's time to make a journal that answers all of that for you.

As far as my art goes, I'm pretty lenient. If you want to use it as a desktop, go ahead! If you take inspiration and want to borrow poses, ideas, etc, go ahead! (I don't recommend it, as my anatomy isn't good and you'd be copying mistakes). If you want to use an Okami image as an avatar, cool! If you want to take a generic wolf/stars picture and use it on a blog, you can do that. A link to my gallery would be awesome. :) I'm happy you like it enough to want it.

There are a few exceptions, so it might be easier to list when you can't take it.

DO NOT take my art for your own purposes/blogs/etc when/if:

- The artwork is a trade/commission/gift for someone that is not you. Once I post it, it belongs to them and you have to ask THEIR permission, not mine.

- The artwork includes MY character (Snow) or something else that's mine (for example, my pets). I usually mention if a picture is Snow rather than a generic white wolf (though she's distinguished by the collar; that's how people know it's me instead of your character. You shouldn't want to steal my intellectual property in the first place).

- You plan to make any sort of money from it. Using it for prints, your to-be-published story, comic, etc, is not cool if you get the profit from my work.

- You mutilate it in MSPaint, paste your neon-green signature on it and claim it as your best artwork ever. No, really, I've seen some scary things done to them. XD

And that's about it! I love sharing my art here and want to be able to without plastering it all with watermarks or limiting my uploads, so please respect my wishes and use common sense. Thank you.

I'm one of the few artists including those here who greatly admire & respect your beautiful artwork to ask for permission first before doing anything. It's so simple!

"You plan to make any sort of money from it."

It's sad that people even have to say that, and yet still there -are- people out there who will continue doing that, and it's so unfair. In my opinion, it's immoral. I hope that you never have that happen to you ^^

Fair enough! Hopefully people will respect your wishes and not abuse the privilage of being able to use your stuff. :)

Well, you already know my usages hun. And you know I never use anything without asking first and then linking back to everything. Sadly though, I know I'm one of very few who are willing to take the consideration and actually ask and try to support the artists I borrow from. But upon reading your post here, I had to chuckle, I've seen some pretty ....sad... changes to images before. :iconfrisket17: gets a whole lot of that as well.
